Saturday sleepy post
Since the Lee Min Ho Fan Conference ended quite late and I went home around 11:30 PM, I badly needed my sleep today. I just enjoyed sleeping until 12:00 noon and just chill over t.v. while eating my lunch. Nothing special today. Just stay home Jane. :)

Gora! Aja! Lee Min ho!
Actually the reason why my friend and me met yesterday was because she have a ticket for the Lee Min Ho Fan Meet that happened awhile ago in Araneta Coliseum. I was not actually going to the Fan Meet as I didn't score the VIP tickets to start but since my friend cannot go, she gave her ticket to me!

Since this is actually a free pass, I allowed myself to be a fan and go to the fan meet. Though, first things first, I attended first to some personal matters before going to the event! After attending to my personal stuff. I am now ready to become a fan!!!!
Exchanging my invite to the ticket booth was actually a breeze as there is no line when I arrived.

After exchanging my invite it is now time to meet my friends and chill. When we go back to Araneta we are surprised by these long lines!!!

After the long show, me and my friends have decided to eat dinner before going home. Since it was already late and our feet are already aching we decided to eat to the closest restaurant we could find which is Pancake House.

Well that's about it! Sorry that I have not gotten any pictures of Lee Min Ho himself as I was so focused on seeing him live!!!! So happy and relaxed though very very tired. Time to sleep now!

Bonding
Im late!
It was already 6:00 pm when I arrived at Trinoma. I didn't know that there were lights display in Trinoma garden during night time now that xmas season is already enveloping the Philippine air. Though, I couldn't enjoy it even for a sec because I am already late in meeting Yhey! She was already waiting for me for a couple of minutes and I don't want her to wait more minutes so I rush to the place where she was waiting for me.
After that we went to globe for me to pay my bills ;) luckily the payment line was a breeze and we chat while patiently waiting for my number.

Me and my friends have common denomitor... and that is food!!!! When we go out we always eat. You see our bonding always consist of good food, hearty conversations and good company. That's the reason why we are so bonded that even after 14 years the friendship survived.
Well that's my luck and I guess that's my blessing. Loyal and true friends are hard to come by luckily I got more than enough where I could call my true blue hommies:) Oh, by the way here is a glimpse of the lights display when we where about to eat.

Almost Late
I woke up very late today and just rode a taxi to go to work. I know
that it is too expensive but what the heck, I don't want to be late.
Everyday when I arrived in the office, the first thing that I will do is to buy my breakfast in the nearby cafeteria and eat my heart out in my desk. After that I would proceed in checking my emails and to do list. Once I know where to start, I will be in the work zone. When I am in that zone there is no turning back! I would finish whatever I have started and work away.
So this is what work for me looks...
Then once this zone has been disturb by a break called LUNCH. The vibe would be down to sleepiness and laziness. That's why I have my ever available tea stash in my drawer so that when the afternoon hullabaloo caught me I would just tea away...
After my tea session... I will now continue working again. For today, since the workload for over two weeks has been so heavy. I am just taking my time and replenishing my supplies and to do lists. I am such unconventional chic as I love art and crafts so what I do is recycle some use papers and turn them into these...

Crazy Quiapo Haul
Today, I got to hang out with my mom and sister. Actually, I wasn't included in their trip to Quiapo as they will just get the contact lenses and glasses that my sister have ordered them. So, I just begged them to let me tagged along in their trip. Off we go to Quiapo with me tagging along with a mission to buy a long champ bag inspired that only cost 150 pesos ^_^ Teehee.
Actually the rate of long champ bag inspired bag ranges from 350-450 pesos in tiangges and department stores. Since the thrifty girl in me is super dominant these days the price range in the mall is so pricey for me. Before the opportunity to tagged along with my mom and sis, my real plan was to go back to quiapo alone and this was because I saw a 150 pesos long champ inspired bag in Quiapo during our binondo walk with my bestfriend which I know was priced 450 pesos in the mall near our home. I wasn't able to buy the bag back then because I have already gone out of budget and we are already going home. So I just let that first chance pass me by since I know that I can still go back. After several weeks, this opportunity knocks and I could no longer let this chance pass to go back to Quiapo and to bond with my mom and sis!
So off we go to Quiapo, umbrella in hand to protect us from the hot summer sun. We took the LRT 1 train station to evade the traffic jam along Talayan st./Araneta Avenue. When we got there the first stop would be to get the glasses and contact lenses before the hunt for the bag! The sun was so hot and I am prone to dehydration so after walking along the street we head to the nearest KFC food chain to drink some water. After hydrating ourselves we go back to the search of the bag. The first bag I saw was not enough and I was having second thoughts so I didn't get it even if it just costs 100 pesos! While looking for the bag we stop at Michaela store where they were showcasing their wonderful umbrellas which the design was from small cute ones to automatic ones. The uniqueness of these umbrellas was revealed when it is wet as the water to create this cute heart shape M. Me and my sister was ecstatic to see this! Not only that the price was so affordable as the manual cute umbrella that displays heart shaped M just cost only 175 pesos and the automatic cool umbrella that also displays heart shaped M was only 275 pesos. My sister get the small manual one while I got the automatic ones as I have bad reputation in handling manual umbrellas. This was our first buys then off we go to hunt again for the bag and we have encountered a store full of hello kitty which have stopped us for a month as my sister was a collector and have been searching for something that she has not owned yet. The shop contains both expensive and affordable stuff. It caters from bags to keyboards to glasses to toys as long as their is hello kitty in it they have it! It was a real hello kitty land in Quiapo! What my sister got in this store was the cellphone pouch as her new android phone has big hard case protector. After she bought it, we again search for the bag and then my mom got to buy something for our uncle which will protect his face while welding. It seems that the bag searching is already getting harder as I could not find the bag that I really really like so my mom ask me where did I saw the bag that I was talking about so I told her that I saw it from the store near the LRT 1 exit stairs. Since it was already snack time, we decided to get our snack fix from the street vendor. We got 5 chicken balls each without sauce as we are evading sweet sauces. Then we go to the hotdog stall to get our gulamans and hotdog sandwiches. After filling our tummies with yummy goodies we now resume our bag search. After the long search we have already found the store which caters the bag that I want. After a long time of thinking and contemplating, i have already got the bag and only paid for 130 pesos which is actually a steal on my opinion. Here are the practical hauls that I got today:

I am opening DOORS
courtesy of google search
I always loved writing. When I was in elementary I love to create short stories about adventure. I have created a number of poems about life and love. When I was in high school, I started to write love romances novel in my old notebooks everyday and it always gave me that satisfying sigh that I felt I have done something very worthwhile. Some notebooks I kept, some I have lost. But still the writer in me lives. I even got to the point that I dreamed of submitting my love romances novel and manuscripts to a publishing company but these does not materialize as I got to college and tried to forget all about it. I suppress the writer in me. I stop the dream. I stop believing that I can write. I close my doors... to opportunity. I turned away from my passion and I close my door to my paradise. For the past years that I have neglected this passion, I have realize that the writer in me is shouting and begging to come out. The writer part of me have been all along crying out loud for it to be unleashed. I have denied myself of doing something I love because I thought that this is not where I would excel, this is not something that would complete me. But I was wrong. I am a writer and I should start believing again that what I do is great because this makes me complete. Writing makes me happy. I am always thinking why am I feeling so low, why am I feeling so incomplete. I thought because I was unloved and yes! its true because I didn't love myself enough to let the writer in me be released. I was insecure enough that my writing skills is not enough. So I let the writer in me to die in a slow death over the years but I guess, this time around I cannot deny the writer to be unleashed. This time I will love myself more by letting it roar and do what my heart always longs for... And that is to write. I am finally signing in to the blogging world not because I want to be famous or be known but because this is where my heart is. This is where I wanted to be. All along I thought I could tame the writer in me and shut the door forever but now I am allowing myself to be free.
courtesy of google search
I am now allowing myself to enter the unknown possibilities. Maybe someday I would also start to publish my own love romance story novel. Maybe someone would read my poems and sponsor to publish it. I am opening this blog to every soul who has passion that they have forgotten because they grew up, because they realized that they are not the best in the field.I am telling you this now, in this world there would be better than you or smarter than you. But what matters most is what you want to do. What your heart is longing for. What your soul is searching for. Best of all do what makes you complete. Frustration comes from feelings of inadequacy and not doing something about it. So if you want something bad enough but restraining yourself because you are afraid then have the courage to do it anyway. Insecurity would not make you a better person but a lesser one. So grab that mic that you are staring at and start to sing even if you are out of tune. Sing your heart out if that would make you happy... if that will bring a smile into your face. Maybe after trying hard enough you will end up with a trained singing voice.
Just like what mother beki Divine M Lee said in her blog, she dreamed about it and tried hard enough to achieve it! Dreams do come true and all you have to do is try... hard enough. I like how she said it in plain simple words "Gurl pinaghirapan ko" (Girl, I tried my best). Really, maybe the difference between losers and winners are that losers quit without even trying but winners never quit. They tried their hardest to win, they tried hard enough to achieve it even if it seems impossible. My dream is to publish a pocket book. Even once in my life I want to see my name as the author of a pocket book, may it contain poems, posts or love romance story. I also want other people to read what write and inspire them to also do their best.
To all the dreamers out there who have shut down their dreams because they think they are not good enough and has been feeling low, frustrated and sad because everything you do seems senseless then go back to your dream that you have neglected and work on it. Even if you are in your 60s or 80s, if you have been bothered all through out your life and nothing have made you happy even if you are successful and have done your part then maybe your passion is calling out to be unleashed. Then I guess, its time to open your doors to your own paradise.

Work Style Peg
Every since I started working I was always on the look out on what to wear with style and comfort. I would always wish that I am like those stylists who have tons of wardrobe and high heels to choose from and their work required them to wear these things. However, I can only endure high heels for 2 days and after that I will go back to my good old snickers and slippers. My office is not that strict with the way we dress. They are actually a cool casual office where you can wear slippers or leggings as long as you look presentable but it still follows the no super short shorts! But tasteful miniskirts are fine.
I was already fine with my t-shirt, jeans and pink havaianas/sneakers/flats but still I feel sluggish and not fashion enough. I feel not that inspired to be up for the challenge of the day and felt totally incomplete. But things change when I see Ms. Jenni Epperson work clothes
from Ms. Jenni Epperson Blog
Ever since, I saw the this and read her blog my paradigm shifted felt that even in simple and casual clothing you can be chic and stunning. With the right pieces, you can be fashion enough and its all about how you carry yourself. Of course, the shoes did not go unnoticed as this piece really caught my eyes and start to drool over it. Why must you ask? because it is the best heels for me as it is high enough but also comfortable enough to walk on everyday even if you are being late you can still run into these babies. So my search began to get that perfect boat sandals!
In one crazy and blessed day, someone got a chance upon these babies in a 70% percent off rack!!! The colorful straps perfectly suites my personality and the style is the same as the one I am drooling over!

Since then my everyday work wear has been spiced up by these shoes and yep my feet are ache free!!!
Thanks for Ms. Jenni Epperson for the inspiration!
Now, I'm one happy worker! ^_^

The fight for fair and scar free skin!
I was not born blessed with a silky smooth skin. I was one of the few people who suffered sensitive for all my life. My mom used to tell me that when I was born I have rashes all over my baby body and my father who have mustache before would not dare kiss me as this will irritate the rashes and give me red skin. I remember when I was a kid that I would have scars in my legs and my arms. The mosquito bites are automatically turned into red bumps. All my life this is my battle. Growing up I was insecure and could not even wear shorts nor short skirts. Micro-mini is a no no for me as my legs are damaged enough.
But now thank God for his little mercy, I have met someone who actually have the same condition as I have with mine and shared her Skin care regimen with me.
These are her babies and now my babies too. Before taking a bath you have to use the Papaya Scrub. You have to apply this using circular motion to remove the dead skin cells then leave it for five minutes.
The next step would be to use this black soap
Once, you have felt that it is already absorb by the skin then you have to rinse the soap. After taking a bath, you can now put the 4 in 1 Bleaching Cream which will brighten the scars.
After the bleaching cream, you now have to put this Sunscreen Lotion for protection, this is used during the day.

While at night after the scrub, black soap and bleaching cream, you have to put this bleaching lotion for that effective whitening effect.
The secret here is you have to do the regimen, day and night religiously as this is for only 30 days. After 30 days, you will now have to stop the bleaching lotion and black soap and should start using whitening soaps and lotion instead. To date, I have been in my 12th day and so far, my arms have already lighten up a bit.

Will update again after 30 days of use and will give more reviews on the changes that I have seem and felt.
